Who We Are:

Second Chances Red Listers is a 501 (c) (3 Nonprofit Pet Organization. Every animal deserves a forever-loving home with compassion, patience, love, care, and safety. We see the unique qualities of each animal we work with, and through training, we help them thrive. Training enhances their lives and increases their chances of success with their adoptive families.

By rescuing, training, loving, and understanding these animals, we allow them to flourish. Our dedicated team is committed to saving animals and pairing adopters with the ones that best fit their lives. Through education, we strive to improve the world and create a brighter future for all.

We rescue animals throughout California, ensuring they find the forever-loving homes they deserve. Our mission is to be the voice for our rescue animals, many of whom have gone unheard or unseen for much of their lives. We enforce animal rights protections and provide care and compassion to each animal we save.

Although we are based in Northern California, we rescue animals from all over the state, including northern, central, and southern California. We focus on adopting our animals to residents of Northern California.
